Sad news. One of my favorite comic book artists passed away this weekend.
Michael Turner died of cancer at the age of 37. Tragic to think how many more fantastic covers/books he might have gone on to create.
I think he was best know for co-creating
Witchblade and creating
Fathom, but he also did so much work for both DC and Marvel that people that don't recognize his name would still probably be familiar with some of his work. In 2003 he founded his own company,
Aspen Comics.
